I’ve don’t all of those when learning WordPress. I even changed the default theme forgetting to change the name, when I updated, everything was reset!

BTW to the poster a few above me, moving menus in themes is always theme specific. But the simple sidebar navigation plugin might help you out. Just google it.

I’ve been guilty of the too many plugins crime. I’ve got it whittled down to just a few, but now i’m stuck with wp 2.9.2 as one very important plugin, custom taxonomies, is not being updated…
