This is really great explanation and tips. Also I would recommend to u to use div tags for your images, and try to wrap your text around images. That will help to get better SERP for your images. Also for the purpose of SEO and SERP its good to use alt tag and put same descriptive keywords.

I think adding images to posts is extremely important. most people wont even read your comment if its a wall of dull text.

I try and use images in each post as much as possible. Images will help bring more traffic and make the post a little more interesting.

Well without image in your post, your post looks like garden without flowers. I had always wanted to add images in the wordpress posts. Now I will be able to do it. One more tip to the users that when you add your image always remember to tag it as well, as in this way it will appear in the google image queries.
