I understand the concerns about plugin problems when moving to the new version, this chance always exists. Therefore, if you are going to upgrade, do a backup first. This way, if there is a glich, you have your backup to revert back to.

Mwanwhile WordPress 2.8.4 is out but I still work with my WordPress 2.7.1 because it works fine

I use wordpress on every blog I own, to me they are very simple to use, and can show up in search engines really fast.

I discussed updating wordpress myself with the guy who builds the web site. I am afraid anything can go wrong when i do it myself. Maybe i should give it a go, just see what happens. But i am little scared i lose data that way…

Am still living on WordPress.com Struggling just to access my blogs here in China Maybe soon i’ll pop them over and get involved with all these fancy plugins plus 2.7.1. Incidentally, any thoughts on what best to do with wp.com that WordPress recently acquired?? I will check back once ive switched my blogs across.

This version ROCKS.

The previous version was so buggy i was about to abandon wordpress completely and go to blogger or something.

There’s one aspect about wordpress that i like more than any other system and it’s the fact that it’s so user friendly and intuitive!

I enjoy that a lot. Thanks.
