It is always useful to create tags, in this way you end up with pages that are more keyword rich. WordPress 2.9 is just an update for wordpress blog and you must install SEO plugins, which are accessible in plenty to optimize your post / pages. WordPress is not great by itself for SEO, but once you add several plugins such as All In One SEO and SEO slugs then it becomes the bees knees!

It is always useful to create tags, in this way you end up with pages that are more keyword rich. However, there is a great plug in that allows you to convert your categories into tags, so you don’t have to do the same job twice. I have been using it on WP 2.9 and it works great!

WordPress 2.9 was ok. I am really waiting for 3.0 to come in the final version too see how great improvements it came with.

For those of you that are not SEO experts (like me)…the SEO plug-in makes it easy.

Although, I’m still not sure if you have to add tags. I do anyhow and so far…no problems.
