That is a neat idea. I am not using Adsense Deluxe but I am using a couple of other ad plugins, and it works fine with them too. Makes it really simple to add the paypal button.

I used a different plugin to add in a hosted paypal button. My client didn’t give me full access to paypal (nor do I really want access because of the liability that opens up) and just sent me the buy now code to embed. I used this plugin to insert the code into the post and it worked great: http://www.matteoionescu.com/wordpress/embed-html/

The paypal button was inserted into the post, not the sidebar.

Jeff, if I don´t want to use PayPal but use my merchant account as payment solution, is there a solution available?

If you don´t want to use Paypal, i can show you how to add a Buy Now – Button to your Merchant Account if you are interested.

Now i know that whatever effort i did, paypal will not work on the post. I understand the adsense plugin allowed you to insert script to the content. Many thanks for your unique solution to the problem.

This is cool. It reminds me of shareware for a donation.

There is a new version of this plugin. In this version you can configure the plugin so that the visitors can donate an amount they wish. Pretty impressive!
