I wish there is a simple and comprehensive plugin which will do everything for you like placing a little profile box underneath every post and simple login widget etc

One of the things I have been searching for is: once you set up multiple contributors, how do you set it up where they can email in their articles (to be queued for moderation/approval)?

I found several options for emailing in content, but they all involve setting up a "private email" address to which the author writes to his/her own blog. Since each writer has to log in, thereby identifying him/her and their role as contributor, they do not have access to the Admin > My Blogs utility, where setting up a private email address is offered.

Have you heard anywhere that it is possible for multiple contributors to email in their content and have it queued?

Thanks!

I had a website like this once, but I had so many spam comments I had to shut it. You seem to be better at weeding out the spam! Well done!

Exactly what I was looking for.

I am setting up a games review site for my fiance and 3 of his friends, and sometimes they post up joke and silly posts which doesn't really do much for the professionalism of the site!

Will set him up using your guide, lets just hope his newfound administrative privileges don't go to his head.

It is good to have multiple authors if you are away, however, you need to trust them if you give them full rights. Nevertheless a great article!

This is great information for everyone to know. I have heard that hosting is a big issue regarding this. We have been having this problem but this article really helped.

I wasn't looking for this but glad I saw it. I would like to have contributors to my blog and didn't realise I could do it without worrying about the security.

I find it great that the WP user system allows up to 10 levels of users, with different levels having configurable privileges with regard to publishing, editing, options, and other users.

I was looking for that information for a long time. I have idea how to do this on Blogger, but implying this on Wordpress is equally easy after reading this post.
