WordPress version 2.7.1 has been quietly released a few days ago. While it is important to keep WordPress up to date, version 2.7.1 has no urgent bug or security fixes.
New Look And New Database For WPM
After a few months of procrastination WordPress Max has finally got the theme update. Although I am not all that pleased with the new theme yet I will continue to tweak it. The other major change is a what you can’t see and that is the new database running the WordPress site.
Finally Upgraded To 2.7
Here is just a brief little post to test the functionality of WordPress version 2.7 on the site. Believe it or not WPM was running on very very old version of WordPress. Why? Because I was too lazy to find replacement plugins for some of my favorite plugins that don’t work with version 2.7.
WordPress 2.7 Dashboard Changes
There are some big changes coming in WordPress version 2.7. One of the biggest changes I noticed so far, is the look and arrangement of the dashboard. There is also the inclusion of few new features like automatic upgrades and the QuickPress feature on the main WordPress dashboard screen.
