WordPress Widgets Version 2.8
Back in version 2.7 WordPress made some major changes in the dashboard, most notable was the placement of the menus on the left side instead of the top navigation menu. Navigating the dashboard changed quite a bit. WordPress sidebar widgets had a major change with version 2.5 and now in version 2.8 there are more changes and additions in sidebar widgets.
New Sidebar Widgets Interface In WordPress Version 2.8
Testing out WordPress version 2.8 beta what I liked so far is the new functionality for sidebar widgets. Some may remember the drag and drop function of previous versions of WordPress and now it seems as if the best of old and new will be in WordPress version 2.8

WordPress 2.7 has some major changes in the WordPress dashboard most notable is the placement of the menus on the left side instead of the top navigation menu of the past. Navigating the dashboard is a little different, but if you have spent any amount of time with previous versions then it shouldn’t take long to figure it out. WordPress sidebar widgets had had a major change with version 2.5. In version 2.7 there really isn’t much of a change other than how to get to them.

WordPress 2.5 ushered in major changes in the WordPress dashboard both visually and functionally. Navigating the dashboard is a little different, but if you have spent any amount of time with previous versions then it shouldn’t take long to figure it out. WordPress sidebar widgets have had a major change with version 2.5 and, in my opinion, some of them are good and some I haven’t decided on yet.
