Hi Jeff,
I think I edit almost every time I publish a post and the bad thing is I did not know it pings after each edit. I know now so I will try not to edit after publishing.

I suggest getting Smart Update Pinger or something similar so you don’t ping the sames sites every time you edit and republish a post.

I tend to do a lot of edits to a post right after I publish it and I don’t want it to be be pinged with each edit. If you just post and never edit the post then you really don’t need it.
