I recently installed the WP threaded comments plugin to automatically notify commenters of a reply, but now my own replies to comments aren’t showing up on my blog. Is there something that needs to be changed in the settings to fix this? Thanks!

Over the past 2 years I have neglected to install a blog on my site. At the time just didn’t see the value in blogging. To me it was just another task I would have to commit to.

Now that I have been smacked in the face and understand how blogging can and does add additional content to a site, it was recommended I go get Word Press.

After playing with it on and off for the past couple weeks and trying to find the plugins that provided the functionality I was looking for, I was so happy to stumble across your site here. A wealth of information is available in easy to understand terms. I think I am going to take it all in to discover exactly what direction I want to take my soon to be launched blog.

Thanks for taking the time to put together such a well informed site. Definitely one I will be following going forward.

Are you still using WordPress Thread Comment? I’m wanting to add something like this to my blog and would like to know if you switched to something better.

I tried Intense Debate too and I liked it but it did keep interfering with other plugins and all sorts of weird and wonderful things were happening so I had to disable it in the end.
I shall give this other plugin a try rather than touch the code, as in my case it’s probably safer. Thanks for bringing it to our attention – I found it by searching for ‘How to add threaded comments in WordPress’ via Google.
I’ll nip off and check out the rest of your blog now too
