More About WordPress PIPS

Here you can see the power of at work. This is the blog itself it is a normal blog with posts shown in chronological order. Now click the title of the post above to read this post in its own page.

If you look at the links above the Home link will take you to the main site. Using a static front page for your WordPress blog you can run a website with just WordPress. Lets take a look at your browser address bar and notice the category name and the title of the post in the URL. Next look at the title bar in your browser, you will see the title of the post before the name of the site, both of these options help with search engine optimization.

Next is the integration of AdSense into the blog posts as you can see here to the left. One thing to keep in mind that your post should have enough text in it to wrap the entire height of the AdSense code you are using. Depending on the theme you are using the AdSense may blend in with post information show at the bottom of all posts and that may not look very nice. One other factor to remember is that Google will only allow three AdSense blocks per web page, or blog post, so only the top three instances of AdSense ads will show up on each web page.

What you see on the sidebars of this page show on all pages throughout the site and are controlled within the main WordPress dashboard, you can add anything and move it into any position you want with a few clicks of your mouse. The changes will show on every page of your site, no more editing every page one by one if you drop out of or add an affiliate program. Copy code, paste it into a widget and you are done.

newbook2.gifWith the addition of a plugin to enhance the editor that you use to create posts and pages, adding items like pictures to a post. Using the graphics editor you can move the pictures in a post around, add borders and resize it very easily. Adding links to other sites like your Plug-In Profit link are as easy as highlighting the text and clicking the link icon to paste your URL in. You can bold or underline text, change the font or color just like you can with your favorite word software. Oh and adding little smiley faces is real easy too! ;-)

Social bookmarking sites are added to the bottom of each post using a plugin. This allows you and your visitors to easily bookmark each post generating valuable backlinks and traffic to your WordPress Powered PIPS site.

There are thousands of plugins available for WordPress, and more coming online every day. If there is something you want your WordPress Powered site to do chances are there is a plugin available to do it. WordPress is probably the most powerful content management system in the smallest and easiest to use platforms available. The easy to navigate back end dashboard will have you up and running in minutes.
