I’ve used the iPhone app for WordPress and absolutely am enamored with it. I’ve had to do some on-the-fly changes to posts after I’ve submitted them because I always second guess everything I write.

Nice post.It was the wordpress plugin for opimize the admin section for iPhone. It disables the theme when viewing the blog through iPhone’s safari and you get blank page.

I am actually using the app on my iPhone and it certainly speeds up my posting, but you don’t have back end access to the formatting so you can’t override the themes link colors or change things easily.

So for posting and adding pages and approving comments it is very handy, but for the most part, you will still need to go through the web to make higher level editing work. (mobile browsing through the phone internet browser works better for that)

Well, I don’t really thing it would be convenient to text the blog content using smart gadget like iPhone, unless the blog contains mostly pictures only. I believe that iPhone developers have made great UI that makes it easy to use, but I’d still prefer my laptop.

So, should this improvement be in vain? Not necessarily. I think it’s still useful to be used to edit or modify our blog posts later on after we’ve published them.

I use the wordpress iphone app all the time! It means I can see as soon as someone’s commented on our latest posts and approve it right away, instead of having to wait until I’m in front of a PC to do it.

Typing on an iphone is OK, although I miss the clicky click of a proper button, so you know you’ve actually clicked on something and inputted. Iphone typing can be a bit distant…
